CALL4 is the first and leading crowdfunding platform for public interest litigations in Japan. We bring individuals, legal professionals, groups and communities together to collectively solve social problems through litigations. We also enable persons from all over the world to gain insight into and participate in Japan’s judicial justice.

訴訟になぜ寄付が必要なんですか
Why is it necessary to donate to litigation?
訴訟にはたくさんの費用や時間がかかります。それを原告などの特定の個人だけが負担するのは、容易ではありません。寄付によってその負担を減らすことで、「社会問題の解決を目指す訴訟」を起こすハードルを下げることができます。
Litigation requires a lot of costs and time. It is not easy for a specific individual, such as the plaintiff, to bear all of these costs and time. By donating, we can lower the barrier to starting "public interest litigation" by reducing the burden.

How much can I donate to a case?
最低金額を500円として、好きな金額を寄付することができます。
You can donate any amount from 500 yen.
ケースへの寄付金は誰が受け取ることになるのですか？
Who will receive the donation for a case?
公共訴訟の担い手である、原告、被告人、支援団体、弁護団などが直接受け取ることとなります。CALL4は手数料を受け取りません。
The plaintiff, defendant, support group, law firm, etc. will directly receive the donation. CALL4 does not receive any fees.

CALL4は、「社会課題の解決を目指す訴訟（公共訴訟）」がなぜ起こされているのか、その背景と、訴訟に込められた人々の思いや物語を届けます。そして、関心や問題意識を持つ人達が、気軽に、寄付や、それぞれのやり方で訴訟に関われる場を提供します。
私たちは、CALL4を通じて、これまで縁遠く、閉ざされがちであった司法を、多くの人たちにひらきたいと願っています。なぜなら、ここにある人々の思いや物語は、本当は「私たちの」思いや物語でもある可能性があるからです。
ここで議論されていることは、私たち自身が生きる社会をどうしていくのかについてです。正確で網羅的な情報の提供は、私たちに多角的な気付きを与え、生産的な議論を後押しするはずです。
社会を形づくる力の一つである司法が、真に人々にひらかれたものとなった時、より多様で公正な社会を見ることができるはずだと私たちは信じています。
CALL4についてCALL4 brings the stories and backgrounds of litigation that aim to solve social issues (public interest litigation) to the public. We provide a platform where people who are interested and concerned can easily participate in litigation through donations and other ways.
We hope to open up the justice that has been closed off and distant to many people through CALL4. This is because the stories and thoughts of the people here may actually be "our own" stories and thoughts.
What is discussed here is how we will live in society. Providing accurate and comprehensive information should give us a multi-faceted perspective and support productive discussion.
We believe that when justice is truly opened up to the people, we will be able to see a more diverse and just society.
