【事案の概要】
2014年3月30日、茨城県牛久市所在の入国者収容所東日本入国管理センターにおいて、収容中のカメルーン人男性Wさん（当時43歳）が死にそうだと痛みを訴え、七転八倒しているのを入管職員が監視しながら、7時間余りも放置し、死に至らせた事件。
2017年9月26日水戸地方裁判所龍ヶ崎支部に国及び当時のセンター所長に対し、Wさんの遺族である母Fさん（カメルーン在住）1000万円の賠償請求訴訟を提起した。
